Cal Vandersloot, firstname.lastname@example.org
Cal was born in Crow Agency, MT, and raised in Hardin, MT. His passion for many years was running my own business (Cal’s Conoco in Hardin MT) and working on all makes of cars. It was always challenging, as well as fun, keeping up with the new automotive technology, while building long-lasting friendships with all my clients. It was from my experiences as an owner/operator that I decided to go to college and further my education by earning an accounting degree. I graduated from MSU-Billings in 2002. With diploma in hand, I moved to Denver, CO and worked for the IRS for five years. While there, I gained significant experience in tax law before returning home to Billings. In conjunction with my experience in tax law, I wanted to do tax preparation. I started working for Jeanne Stecher in the fall of 2007. There is so much to learn about tax because the laws are always changing along with our clients’. It’s a pleasure to work for this small firm. And a plus when your employer and co-workers are great to work with.
Last, but not least, I love, love, love chocolate. No chocolate is safe around me. I eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and usually have a chocolate snack before bedtime. My favorite chocolate snack is chocolate-covered cherries; I can sniff them out from across the kitchen.

Sandra’s dog, Murphy (cocker spaniel black lab mix) is her good buddy and loves the parks in Billings (there are 54) where he is allowed and helps Sandra enjoy her summer hobby of going on picnics.
Frank Kuehn, firstname.lastname@example.org
Frank is a long-time Billings, Montana resident, has worked in the Accounting field for more than 26 years. He has recently finished his sixth tax season working for Accounting and Tax by Stecher, EA, where his primary focus has been serving the accounting and tax needs of corporate clients.
A look at Frank’s background reveals a varied interest in many unrelated activities spanning several decades. He has worked in the market research field as a data analyst, in radio as a personality hosting old-time radio broadcasts from the fifties, even a stint as a substitute instructor teaching an introductory Accounting course (what else!).
In the late eighties and early nineties, Frank could occasionally be found in the limelight, on stage in community theater productions. And, if you look very closely, you might catch a glimpse of Frank portraying a Washington, DC dignitary in the movie, Son of the Morning Star, another retelling of the Custer saga made in Billings and the surrounding area at the end of the eighties.
These days, when not engaged in career activities, Frank enjoys reading novels of all kinds, hiking in the mountains of Montana, playing pool, good food, and a little red wine. An avid movie fan, Frank is equally at home in the movie theaters or catching a classic oldie-but-goody on late night television.

Whitney grew up on ranches on the Hi-Line of Montana, riding horses and driving tractors. She went to college in Bozeman, moved to Couer D'Lane, Idaho and later Spokane, Washington where she met her husband. She dragged him back to Montana in 2001. They have 3 kids, all feisty like their parents. She worked at the Department of Revenue for 9 years, ending her career there with a leap of faith - into the unknown. Luckily she knows how to build a fire and not burn the house down. She has been with Colleen Black & Co for three years. She loves her family and co-workers and still manages to learn something new every day, unlike her kids who claim they "learned nothing at school today."

Laurie Brendan, firstname.lastname@example.org
I was born in San Diego to two Montana natives and raised there and Perth Australia until age 16 when they moved me here to Billings when Dad retired from the Navy. I graduated from Senior High with Colleen and attended MSU in Bozeman.
I am a Certified Transportation Broker and worked in that capacity for 13 years. I raised 3 kids – all of whom have earned varying degrees.
My son has earned an Associates Degree and is nearly finished with his bachelor's (one year left in chemical engineering at MSU). My daughter is a Physical Therapy Assistant. She has two kids and is married to a wonderful guy and they live in Billings. My other daughter has her masters in Physician Assistant and is practicing in North Dakota. All my kids played sports in high school and I went to every game/event. I love to cook and entertain.
I love working with people and the variety & challenges that working here provides. My hobbies include anything outdoors or pertaining to water – exploring our beautiful state, and traveling the United States and Europe.
My parents live in Billings. My father is a retired Navy SEAL and I grew up on the beach in Coronado watching him train SEALS during hell week… I had the very best childhood a kid could ask for with living in San Diego, and summers in Montana with our family here.
